I received an update on our upcoming Tournament this Sunday from our Tournament
Director Scott Atkins. He said it looks good for Camarillo Springs (but not confirmed yet)
Starting tee times will be 8:34 am and our T.D. said he is booking 4 tee times so they might go fast... Also those members who have filled out and turned in member forms but have not yet
got your 43$ payment in, when I get the bill from the PLGA in about a week, your bill will be due. I have been nice enough to send in your membership applications without your checks..
I trust I won't have to send my hencemen after you! Those who have outstanding bills are inelligable for the 300$ hole in one, until their bill is paid. So get in the $ and start collecting points. Remember we have, just like the PGA (has FED EX points) we have our own through the year points, with the overall winner at the end of the year receiving a nice gift.....

Hey Chris, Brad Sillasen joined the club today. He was on my team this past Sat. and won 20$. I think it would be fair to make it a rule that, If you earn $ in the club at one of our 9 hole, 18 hole or open play events,and your not a member. If that person joins in the same month that they earned $ that they get credit on the fed ex points. what do you think? As in Brad 's case.
Also Candice Robledo earned 36$ if she joins before mos. end she should be able to keep her 36$ fed ex cup points... by the way she could do well in our events, teeing off from the ladies tees and hitting it a mile like she does is big advantage...JJ
I think that's fair... I will update the points list to include Brad. As soon as Candace pays, she will be added as well.

I put a little bug in Kirk(don't know his last name) from Sta.Paula
men's club about what Fred Jansen and I discussed re: the club vs club match play games in the spring. Fred and I agreed it would NOT be a club event but a side type game, with basically 4-6 or 8 players, playing on a Saturday in a match play type game. I have seen on the golf channel 3man 1woman/2best ball club v club matches. If we had a once a month rotation with a 4 person team going off to various clubs it could be alot of fun....either way I don't care, it seems a pretty fun Idea. It could also help legitimize the 126 club in the minds of these other clubs....JJ

The hole-in-one fund has changed to $300. As the months progress, the fund will climb.
There you have it. If you make an ace this Sunday, you'll get at least $300 for it... if you make an ace in August, it may be worth as much as $500.

we also talked about this at the board meeting, a perspective member cant hit a hole and one and say here is my 43$ p.s. I got tired of double typeing....JJ
