*Here is how you compute the strokes, example: Ernie Robledo Sr. vs. Brad Sillasen
(14.1)divided by 3 =4.7 (27)divided by 3 =9 ****** subtract 4.7 from 9 =4.3 ****** Mr. Robledo Sr. will be giving Mr. Sillasen 4.3 strokes ..................1 on #1 handicap hole (which is hole #7) 1 on # 3 handicap hole (which is #4) and so on .... * Don't disregard the (point) .3 It may have an effect on the outcome of that hole it is played on. (If they both par that hole, Mr. Sillasen wins the hole if Mr. Sillasen bogeys while Mr. Robledo pars, Mr. Robledo wins that hole).

One more thing...... if the handicap differential is less than .1 (ie-.05) it is not counted.
example: Scott Atkins (13.6) vs Ken Baum (13.7) it seems Mr. Baum gets .1 stroke but he does not......... 13.6/3=4.5*****13.7/3=4.5 (no rounding of the hundreth digit) they are in effect playing a straight up match. Believe it or not we had our first match today, as soon as I posted the first round bracket Andy and Robert, shot out there and played their 1st round match Andy won 1 up.....Robert is by no means out of it yet.......JJ
well so far the higher handicap has won.....blink blink....JJ
By the way the club is paying the top 3 places in the match play event. 125$ first,+ trophy
100$ second, and 75$ for third...
That is so we don't have a fiasco like last year.....you will however have to pay your green fees (of course) and every 9 hole match you have we will collect 2$ for the club fees....JJ
Looks like I gotta give Cody 0.3 strokes. It better not end up being Cody wins, 0.3 UP.
