Here is what you are playing for $$$$$ 1st place = 125 $ and a trophy
......................................................................2nd place = 100 $ 3rd place = 75 $....................................
where? Saticoy Regional , when? begins monday after our tournament at Vista Valencia players have a week to complete a 9 hole match.... (double elimination) what's it cost? 2 $ that's right 2 dollar club fee is all you pay$( each 9 hole match)$....$$$ of course you have to pay your green fees........ you and your opponent set your own match up on your schedules....twighlight schedule...weekend whatever.
We will post a bracket board up at the golf course......along with a sign up sheet... or sign up on line, at this post comment. 1/4 your handicap all net, 1 flight for all....
example player A is a 4 index player B is 16, player A would get 1 stroke player player B would get 4 = netting player B 3 strokes, 1 on hole 7 , 1 on hole 4 , etc.any questions feel free to call me ....JJ Oh and yes ,... by the way...If you have not signed up by Apr. 20th ...sorry , I will be writing in the brackets after the tournament at Vista on the 2oth.....there I will be doing the match ups ( draw out of hat to begin)...Thnx JJ

seems like the high handicap guy is going to get screwed pretty bad
in your example you are only giving the high handicap guy a two hole advantage - seems set up for the low handicap guy to win - please expalin further
sorry three hole advantage - worse golfer still getting screwed though
It's still match play. I would agree if it were stroke play, but in match play, strokes don't count the same way... it's fair... and if you don't like it, don't play. There's no reason to complain.

But why anonymous? are you not a member of this club?
The Idea was to try and keep someone from getting strokes on a par 3 ,since we have 3 of the 9 holes as par 3's if somebody gets a stroke on 1 or 2 of the par 3's it seems an advantage to the high handicapper. However since there are no flights and it is all handicapped I guess it should be fair no matter what, huh?
