2008 Champion of Champions Pub Links Tournament
Deadline: October 10, 2008, 5 pm.
Saticoy Golf Club will be playing our club championship prior to this. The flights given to us by the PLGA for their tournament are: 4.4 and lower - Championship flight; 4.5 - 8.4 - A flight; 8.5 - 12.4 - B flight; 12.5 - 17.4 - C flight; 17.5 - 26.4 - D flight. Our club doesn't have anyone in the E flight.
Allotment for Club Championship was $300, so since we have 5 flights, we will pay each flight's winner $60. (which is 1/2 of the entry fee for the COC). Due to the fact that the PLGA got thier information on the COC out late, we have little time to have our club championship. We may play consecutive Sundays or Saturday and Sunday.

So the champion of champions thing is separate from the club championship, right? I don't want to show how stupid I am, but I was a little confused.
Does anybody in the club qualify for Championship flight? Anybody less than 4.4 handicap?

Each club registered with the plga is sent an application for the Champion of Champions tourn. whether not you get accepted is another thing, but on the form that I (literally) got 2 days ago their, deadline is Oct.8 5pm...and Club champs and Senior Club Champs take precident over a,b,c,d,e flights for applications...Also they take low index for the last 3 months, so Robt, Jason, Andy and cody have all expressed interest in the COC.... Even though I haven't decided what I will do I might try to slug it out with those guys...JJ
I'd like to play in this thing too... Just have to make sure my wife isn't working on those days.
